A timeless figure as a voice of thought reflects the question of whether you really know a person, even if you love them from the bottom of your heart. The named person is also symbolic of everything that lives; for all creatures that go their own way, lose their way and yet want to arrive where they find true security and genuine understanding. Based on the pictures entitled "The Other Ancestral Gallery" by Swiss painter Raffaela Zenoni, the film shows a collage of music, words and images in which the individual pictures, arranged as if in alternating triptychs, gradually change and constantly enter into new relationships with each other.

The Teufelsberg in Berlin's Grunewald forest. Only 120 meters high and yet filled with history like no other mountain. It was created by the remains of the city that was bombed during the Second World War. It has stored the stories of Berliners scarred by the war deep inside. The tattered remains of a listening station built by the occupying forces make it seem like a lost place. But it is as full of life as a conquered mountain of rubble can be. In the meantime, nature, art and party culture have taken over the mountain. SENSOR BERLIN functions like a melting pot of everything that the AREA COMPOSER artist group perceived and felt during their visit to Teufelsberg 2022. The artists recorded its messages and signals from then and now with cameras, microphones and all their senses and wove them into an audiovisual installation. Extremely slowly merging images combine to create a liquid image. The soundscape of noises, electronic sounds and the live sound of a bass clarinet brings the history of the Berg to life and lets us feel the pulse of Berlin.

This circular composition led directly to the use of the number Pi for the underlying structure. The fact that the digits of Pi are sung on the soundtrack is a tribute to "Einstein on the Beach" by Philip Glass and Robert Wilson.

The film challenges the viewer to confront their own assumptions and prejudices and reflect on the possibilities of a more equitable society. Overall, the film aims to spark conversations and inspire viewers to imagine a world where gender is not a limiting factor. In the best case scenario, the audience will leave the movie theater with a greater awareness of the issues and a sense of possibility for a just future.

The theme of the associations deals with the transformation of the earth through human creation. The journey of thought in combination with images and sounds confronts the viewer with the emotions of greed and longing for coherence.
